Biography

Estelle Salata was born in Hamilton, Ontario many years ago. She graduated with a B.A. in religion from McMaster University in 1976 with her two daughters. She married Ben Salata in 1948 and has four children: Michael, Paula, Kathy, and Mark. She has six grandchildren. She is a member of the Canadian Authors' Association; CANSCAIP, SCBWI, the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators,and The Writers' Union of Canada. Her stories and articles appear in over 150 publications and 30 of her children's stories have been anthologized. Her newest work-in-progress is Tori's Little Big Journal.
