Paikin Miller, Carole
Biography
Carole Paikin Miller was born and raised in Hamilton. She has worked as an elementary school teacher for the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board, Mississauga Board, and Northumberland and Durham Board. She has been a freelance journalist for Hamilton This Month Magazine for 16 years, writing 18 feature articles,, and wrote not only the story but also five songs for her children's book One Enchanted Tunelight. She has travelled throughout Europe and the United States, and has lived in and around Hamilton and Toronto, as well as in North Carolina and Florida. In February 2005, she won the EFTO Anti-Bias Curriculum Development Writer’s Award for One Enchanted Tunelight.
