Biography
Orignially from Hamilton, Ontario, Stellanova Osborn (1894-1988) was the wife of Michigan governor Chase S. Osborn, a leader in the Atlantic Union Movement, and an officer in the Atlantic Union Conference, the International Movement for Atlantic Union, and Federal Union, Inc. She lived in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., and Poulan, Ga. Her papers include extensive diaries (1928, 1930, 1949, 1953, 1956-1987). The diaries contain descriptions of her daily activities, travels, political affairs of the day, impressions of places and people, her work on her husband's papers, her own work for world government, and her interest in religious mysticism.
