Mary Romeo
1991 Gallery of Distinction Inductee
A native of the Ottawa Valley, Mary Romeo graduated as a nurse from St. Josephs Hospital in Hamilton and then went on to Toronto for post-graduate training.
She has an obsessive determination and desire to learn, and just recently received a degree from McMaster University.
Mary Romeo has served on the Opera Hamilton board of directors and is currently a member of the Opera Hamilton staff acting as assistant and advisor to artistic director, Daniel Lipton.
