Hamilton-area author R.A. Tidgwell
Biography
Best selling Canadian author, R.A. Tidgwell, was less than an excellent student because his favorite pastime was daydreaming. Baseball was his favorite sport but he did not enjoy playing hockey. No matter how much padding he wore the puck would always find his bones. His first bicycle, a two wheeled sidewalk bicycle, wore out the first year. He wore out several more by the time he had
reached 16 and then began wearing out automobiles, the first being a well worn 1950 Morris Minor. Longtime girlfriend Judy married him in 1963 and has spoiled him ever since. They have three wonderful children and three grandchildren who call him Papa. Papa began writing short stories for his four-year-old grandson and eventually the pastime grew into novels for young readers (and the young at heart). R.A. is now living in Hamilton, Ontario. He enjoys technology, owning a desktop computer attached to two large monitors, a 12 inch”laptop, a 7 inch android tablet, an android mobile phone, and a kindle reader. (Saves trees). Judy is afraid to let him go near an electronics store.Today, R.A. spends most of his time working on his stories.
