Greenlee, James
Biography
James “Doc” Greenlee was born in Hamilton in 1945 and grew up on the east Mountain. Since the 1970’s, he has been a history professor at Grenfell College in Corner Brook, Nfld., and since November 2008 is Professor Emeritus. He spent four seasons as the judge on the CBC-TV quiz show Reach For The Top, and has built model aircraft for several museums, including Newfoundland's North Atlantic Aviation Museum and the National Aviation Museum in Ottawa. For the past forty years, Greenlee has spent his summers in Hamilton playing in the McMaster graduate students’ softball league. He is also an avid cross-country skier.
