Getty, Adam
Biography
Adam Getty was born in Toronto and currently lives in Hamilton . His poetry has appeared in journals on both sides of the US-Canada border, as well as in the Algonquin Square Table Anthology 1995-1999 . He also writes short fiction and edits and reviews both literary forms. His first chapbook, A Gentle Shaking, was shortlisted for the Hamilton Literary Awards. Getty attended the University of Toronto from 1995 to 1998, and works in a slaughterhouse in Burlington.
