Evans Shaw, Susan
Biography
Susan was born in North Bay, grew up in Sudbury and Port Credit, educated at Queen’s and McMaster Universities, and settled in Hamilton in the early 1970s. Until 1999 she worked as a research technician in Health Sciences at McMaster University. She lives in a Hamilton high-rise with her two cats, Hagar and Maui.
She is a member of the organizing committee for Hamilton’s monthly reading series, LiT LiVe, and a member of the programming committee for Hamilton’s literary festival, gritLIT. She is also co-chair of Arts Hamilton’s Literary Advisory Committee. Susan is a member of PEN Canada.
