Biography

Born in the U.K., Spencer Dunmore came to Canada in 1954. He has written several novels, most notably, Bomb Run and Collision. In recent years, he has concentrated on military history: Reap the Whirlwind (1991), Wings for Victory (1994), Above and Beyond (1996), Explaining the Lusitania (with Robert Ballard; 1996), Lost Subs: From the Hunley to the Kursh, the Greatest Submarines Ever Lost - and Found (2002), and Undaunted : Long-Distance Flyers in the Golden Age of Aviation (2004).
