Combs, Eugene
Biography
Eugene Combs is Professor Emeritus of Religious Studies at McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario. He has two books published including MODERNITY AND RESPONSIBILITY: ESSAYS FOR GEORGE GRANT, AND RUNPOEM.. His poetry has been published in several local anthologies and magazines including TOP 40, KAIROS, and ARTSBEAT. His poem "Weeds" won first prize in the 1992 Canadian Authors Association poetry contest. He has been involved in several local literary activities sponsored by the Hamilton and Region Arts Council and the Hamilton Poetry Center.
