Basanti Majumdar is a professor with the School of Nursing and the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University and an internationally respected scholar who has worked to bring better health and health education to people in many countries, including South Africa, India, Thailand and Japan. Her work in Canada has focused on helping bridge communications between governments and Aboriginal Canadians.
