2004-2006 - Larry Di Ianni
Larry Di Ianni is a retired high school teacher, principal and past member of the Stoney Creek Hydro Commission. He was elected as a municipal councillor for the former City of Stoney Creek in 1982 and served this community for 19 years. In the first election for the newly amalgamated City of Hamilton, he won as the Councillor for Ward 10 serving from 2001 to 2003. With the retirement of Mayor Wade Larry Di Ianni ran for mayor and was elected in December of 2003. He began his tenure as Mayor on January 1, 2004. After serving for two years, Larry Di Ianni was defeated by Fred Eisenberger in the election of 2006. Larry resides in Stoney Creek with Janet, his wife of 31 years. Together, they are the proud parents of three children.
