Strengthening Hamilton Aboriginal Education (SHAE)
The Hamilton Wentworth District School Board has partnered with the Hamilton Regional Indian Centre to create an alternative education for Aboriginal students wishing to continue their educational career but not currently attending a secondary school in Hamilton.
Credit attainment by completing Independent Learning Centre and locally developed courses
- Small group and individual instruction and support;
- Mandatory 18 hours a week attendance;
- A culturally appropriate learning environment
