There are costs and benefits associated with the production and distribution of everything we buy. We are dedicated to investigating the whole environmental impact of products: from their creation, until the end of their useful lives. This will take into account:

• Materials and energy needed for construction and distribution,

• Environmental benefits of the product,

• Expected durability and lifespan, and

• Ease of re-use or disposal

• The social costs and benefits to people.
