Many job seekers are recognizing the value of volunteer work as a way to gain experience in their field or to try out a new occupation. Volunteer experience can round out your resume, give you a chance to learn new skills and meet new people who may be able to help you with your job search.

  • If you have strong academic skills and enjoy working with kids, consider volunteering at one of our twelve Reading and Homework Club programs. Kids gain confidence and improve their study skills and volunteers enjoy the satisfaction of helping kids learn.
