The Terryberry Branch is now closed for renovations. Construction is expected to take approximately four months.

HOLDS: If customers did not alert Terryberry staff of their preferred alternate pick up location prior to closure, their holds have been suspended until they contact library staff.

DROP BOX: The Terryberry drop box is now closed. Library materials may be returned to any branch of the Hamilton Public Library.  The HPL branches closest to Terryberry are as follows:

• Turner Park Branch – 352 Rymal Road East
• Sherwood Branch – 467 Upper Ottawa Street
• Ancaster Branch – 300 Wilson Street East
• Concession Branch – 565 Concession Street

Branch improvements will include:

• Increased display and marketplace areas featuring new and popular materials
• Barrier free washrooms
• Expanded computer area with additional computers
• New computer lab for instructional classes
• Larger children’s area with increased seating
• Updated furniture and flooring
• Additional electrical outlets throughout the branch for laptop users

Terryberry branch staff will be redeployed to other mountain branches during the renovation so that programs, such as storytime and book clubs, will continue. Please check with Terryberry branch staff for details.
