Teen Advisory Groups
If you are between the ages of 13 and 18 and have ideas and opinions about what you would like to see happening at the Library or you just love to read, the TAG is the opportunity for you.
The Hamilton Public Library currently has a Teen Advisory Group that meets at the Saltfleet Branch.
The Saltfleet TAG meets the last Tuesday of the month at 3:30 p.m. at the Saltfleet Branch.
What does a Youth Advisory Group do?
- Attend monthly meetings
- Discuss books, websites and library programs
- Help plan programs for teens
- Put up displays and promote library programs
- It's up to you! The agenda for the meetings is set by you and the other Teen Advisory Group members with support from the Branch Librarian.
What qualifications do I need to be Teen Advisory Group member?
- Enthusiastic
- Dedicated
- Communicate well with others
- Work well in a group environment
- Reliable
