Piano Practice Room Central Library
Piano Room Central Library.
There is no charge for the use of the room. Customers will present a library card at the 2nd floor information desk before using the room.
Bookings
Bookings may be made by phone: (905) 546-3200 x3434 or in person at the 2nd floor information desk up to two days in advance.
Customers are limited to one (1) hour per day in two (2) non-consecutive half (1/2) hour time slots, Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Customers are limited to a half (1/2) hour time slot on Sundays, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (September to April)
Maximum of eight (8) people in the room at any one time.
If a customer is more than five (5) minutes late for a booking, the booking is cancelled.
Restrictions on Use
Due to lack of soundproofing, no instruments can be played louder than a piano would be played. Information desk staff may request that a customer play or sing less loudly.
