Internet Safety Tips for Kids
- Never share photographs of yourself, your family, or your home with people you meet online
- Never give out personal information on the internet. This includes: your name, address, phone number, school, places you like to hang out etc.
- Always use a nickname for all of your computer correspondence
- Never agree to meet someone you have met online
- Never give out your email or internet password to anyone
- Tell your parents right away if you come across information that makes you uncomfortable
- Do not respond to any messages that are mean . If you receive one, tell your parents right away
- Always remember that people online may not be who they say they are
- Do not believe everything that you read, hear or see online
- Never buy or order anything online
