Extended Hours and Programs at Turner Park Branch
The Hamilton Public Library Board recently approved a change to the Turner Park Branch’s hours of operation to include a fourth evening of service. Effective February 2, Turner Park Branch will be open Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The Turner Park Branch opened on the south mountain just three years ago and has proven to be a popular destination for library customers with a circulation of almost 500,000 items in 2011. Karen Anderson, Director of Public Service for the Hamilton Public Library, indicates that the "fourth evening of service was always the intent and I am pleased we can do this".
The additional evening of service at Turner Park Branch will help ensure that mountain library customers will have more access to collections and programming, particularly as Terryberry Branch closes its doors on February 2 for approximately four months of renovations.
Turner Park Branch - Hours
Monday through Thursday: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday: closed
Saturday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (September to April)
