Alice M. Judd
Alice Judd (-1943) was one of the sixteen artists chosen to hand paint pieces of the Cabot Memorial State dinner service. Each of the 12 dessert plates she contributed were decorated with a different wild or cultivated fruit of Canada.The plate in this illustration depicts blackberries. Alice, like Clara Galbreaith was a member of the Women's Art Association of Hamilton.
