The City of Hamilton has a proud and colourful past, and a great wealth of this history is available for viewing in the Local History & Archives department of the Hamilton Public Library.  It houses the collection and provides access in a wide variety of formats to information relating to the historical development of the City of Hamilton and the Hamilton-Wentworth region.
